Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 31) — The death toll in the magnitude 7 earthquake that rocked North Luzon on Wednesday has climbed to 10, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Sunday.

In its latest bulletin, the NDRRMC said nine of the casualties have been confirmed, while one is for validation.

NDRRMC spokesperson Mark Timbal confirmed four more deaths, adding they are just waiting for the official report on the deceased.

The agency also reported that 375 were injured, while no one was missing as of Sunday's update.

It also said 314,161 people or 82,336 families in three regions were affected by the earthquake while 34,291 persons were displaced, of which 3,891 are staying in 42 evacuation centers.

The NDRRMC reported that 21,890 houses and 539 infrastructure worth over ₱414 million were damaged.

Power supply in 48 cities and municipalities, as well as water supply in three of four cities and municipalities affected by the quake, have been restored.

There were 27 areas placed under state of calamity, the NDRRMC said.

Damage to agriculture was only reported in the Cordillera Administrative Region with estimated value of nearly ₱14 million.

So far, the government has provided assistance worth over P11.6 million to affected residents, which include family food packs, modular tent, and hygiene kits.

Authorities have recorded over 1,700 aftershocks since Wednesday, ranging from magnitude 1.4 to 5.
